“Why wait to educate males
at 40 to 45 years old about the fact they are born with a prostate gland”
- Celeste E. Edwards (at age 12)
The birth of the TPCC Youth/Adult Program came from Celeste E. Edwards at the age of 12, when she asked the question "Why wait to educate males at 40 to 45 years old about the FACT they are born with a prostate gland".
TPCC conducts 30-minute presentations with a fun and informative Q&A session.
The presentation and Q&A are conducted in an interactive manner, allowing youth to actively participate and ask questions in an open and honest environment. The information shared is typically the first time many males/females hear the health message.
